The tricky thing about new ideas is that there is little to no data available to understand them. So then we move to logic - does the new idea make logical sense? This is also not a great way to judge a new idea's viability because most new ideas break current logic models. Finally, we move to passion - do we have belief? Most new ideas are driven by passion and emotion at the very beginning.

It is those who can move from passion to logic to data that change the world.
